Materials for your window shutters
- MDF Polymer - This material allows you to create a classic feel with fibreboard panels and frames that incorporate a veneer finish. 9 different colours are available.
- Marchwood - A more affordable material, these frames have hardwood panels and painted finishes. With 25 solid finishes and any colour on the DULUX paint chart to choose from - it offers a very versatile option.
- Kingston - This is a hardwood frame / panels with a painted finish. It comes in 47 different stains and colours and can be matched to any colour on the DULUX paint chart.
- Vienna - Ideal for any wet area such as bathrooms, this material is completely water resistant.
Styles of plantation shutters:
- Full height shutters cover the entire window. They are well suited to large, flat or bay windows and any doorway. A mid rail split is available or they can open as one panel from top to bottom.
- Tier on tier shutters are ideal for sash windows. They cover the whole window and have split panels at the point of your choosing.
- Café style shutters cover half of your window. They provide enhanced privacy without compromising on light coming in. Ideal for street level windows.
- Tracked shutters are perfectly suited to wide windows and doorways. This style glides effortlessly along the track of any bi-folding door. They can be stacked to one side or split either side.
